Chris Piton, RN BSN, graduated from Washington State in 1975. Over her 39 year career, Chris worked in hospital settings, home health and hospice. For 12 years she was the clinic case manager for the Improving Care Through End of Life program at the Enumclaw Medical Center, an innovative program for Palliative Care. There she worked closely with physicians, patients, families and volunteers, coordinating care for patients with age-related or life threatening illness, and starting meaningful conversations for end of life care. Chris is now working as a Nusre Delegator in Adult Family Home settings, supervising and teaching nursing assistants in tasks needed to care for elders. Chris is a founding board member for Honor My Wishes.
