My job experiences let me to be interested in volunteering for Honor My Wishes. As part of my job, most times I arrived at homes during emergencies. Many families had no knowledge of the patient's wishes and had had no discussions about end of life issues. That makes an emergency situation even more stressful. I try to help people fill out their Honor My wishes guidebooks and understand why doing so is important. I am a facilitator for Honor My Wishes and a Board member. Most recently I helped create the new Honor My Wishes web site and am working on an Honor My Wishes Facebook page.
