Graduated Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California in Dietetics, working as a Registered Dietitian for 2 years before becoming a community activist and volunteer.
Has been active in heading up a number of projects for Sacred Heart church in Enumclaw, Enumclaw Regional Hospital, and is presently serving her 5th term on the Enumclaw School Board.
She worked 9 years as the Program Assistant for the Improving Care through the End of Life program at the Enumclaw Medical Center, a Franciscan Medical Group partner in the Franciscan Health System. It was her work with patients facing the end of life and her passion for education that sparked her interest in spear-heading the community coalition now known as Honor My Wishes.
Nancy is a founding board member and has acted as coordinator, grant-writer, and President of Honor My Wishes for 7 years.
